Governance Framework & Secure Architecture for Agentic AI

A company in the insurance and travel sector sought to integrate Artificial Intelligence agents (Agentic AI) into its operational processes. However, the critical nature of its operations, such as international incident management or medical claims processing, required mitigating any risk of erroneous decision-making by the AI. An autonomous error in granting indemnities could lead to severe legal consequences, financial losses, and significant reputational problems for the brand.
Our team worked as strategic consultants to define a minimum viable governance framework and a services architecture oriented entirely towards Agentic AI. We established structural best practices, managed the specific identity and permissions for the agents, and implemented a mandatory "human-in-the-loop" supervision system designed to validate any sensitive actions before execution. The entire architectural design in Azure was proposed to strictly comply with European regulations on Artificial Intelligence (AI Act) and data protection. Also, we helped them define, design, and operationalize prioritized use cases that address the immediate needs they had identified.
Following this consulting phase, the company has a clear, actionable roadmap to launch high-impact technological use cases rapidly, promoting secure innovation that fundamentally minimizes risk exposure. The design ensures strict regulatory compliance by being fully aligned with data protection regulations and the European AI legal framework. In this way, strong operational control is maintained, ensuring that critical business decisions (such as issuing payouts) always have the validation of a human expert when the operation requires it, fully protecting the brand's integrity.
